Väinämöinen was not at all a happy Fin.
Laying in the white hospital bed, the loose gown-like wear he was forced to put on barely covering his broad shoulders, the golden haired European did nothing more than breathe. The sheets did little to cover him, as the cold was really underneath them. Annoying little suction pads pricked his skin with their cold latches, the wires connecting them to the beeping machine not the warmest either. Väinämöinen's foot was in a brace, elevated by a special foam pillow.
All in all, he had been fine throughout the whole procedure of clothing and unclothing, even with bandaging his ankle. He behaved the whole time. But alone in the curtain room, he felt too paranoid to sleep. Väinämöinen's blue eyes were half closed, his head angled off to the side, a few damp curls of blonde falling into his furrowed gaze. No diving for a month, and he was starting the school year on crutches.
Oh, how he missed Finland...

They had already taken Vaina into X-ray by the time he had gotten there. Explaining to the nurse that he and Vaina were roommates at the Royal Academy he was directed to the waiting room and told to wait until the doctor was finished.
Sometime later he was allowed to see Vaina, still in the Emergency Room. Vaina looked absolutely miserable, with his foot wrapped and elevated on some kind of pillow.
"Hey, Vaina," Luis spoke softly. He was sure they had him on some kind of pain medicine. "How are you feeling?"

Kylie had been sitting in her room playing on her computer. She was messing around with photo-shop with some pictures that she had taken around the campus lately. She loved taking them. She thought she would go decide and take more when the sunset would fall. She loved fall time and sunset. It took some of the prettiest pictures ever. All of the sudden her phone had went off. She didn’t know who it had been, she had looked at the text and her eyes widen. Her brother had been in the hospital.
She closed her lap top and left a note for her roommate, telling her where she had went. She didn’t know how long she would have been. She decided to take an extra blanket for Vain just in case if he was cold. She knew how hospitals were having been in one once or twice. She had grabbed her keys and locked the dorm. She got out of the building and to her car starting it up. She had drove to the hospital and ran into where the emergency room had been.
She was looking around and brought the blanket in with her, with her bag too. She went up to the counter and explained who she had been to the nurse. The nurse had taken her back to where Vain had been and let her in. She saw Luis there and Vain and saw his foot. She couldn’t believe what had happened. She shook her head and looked at Vain. She felt bad for him though. She turned towards Luis and smiled at him. ”What happened?” She asked softly. ”Oh I’m Kylie Owens by the way.” She said politely.
Kylie had walked up to Vain, she had been sisterly like towards him. ”Hey you big goof.” She said in her Irish accent that was still there a little bit and giggle and gave him a soft hug. Kylie had gone and put her bag down and grabbed her blanket out and put it around him. He must have been freezing. She sat on the bed where there had been little room for her to squeeze, since she had been so small anyways. Outfit!

Watching for luis, Väinä let out a soft yawn, eyes drooping until he heard footsteps. When his friend entered, Väinämöinen gave a weak smile, "'M tired 'n guiltin'." He sighed, "'m sorry I dragged y'u into this."
As he heard someone pull back the curtains and enter once more, Väinä purposefully didn't look up, believing it to be another doctor. However, that was not the case. His flame-headed comrade strode right on into his room. Oh, she was a welcome sight. Väinä flashed that charming grin of his, opening his arms to take her into a hug when she sat. Though the blanket she put on him was definitely warm, it did nothing for the pieces of rubber on His chest. He managed to pull her up so she was laying on him, her head on his chest. Väinämöinen frowned softly, "I cannae dive f'r a month. A month, K'lie..." He trailed off with a heavy sigh, "S' 'm n't doin' 'nythin'." His accent always stood out when he was tired. He brought Kylie up farther and used her head as a pillow. "Mmf."

Luis had to laugh at Vaina teasing Kylie. "You must be feeling better," he grinned. "What did the doctor say? Is your ankle broken or just sprained really bad?" he asked him.

"Spr''ned." Väinämöinen muttered, still using Kylie's head as a pillow while holding her like a child with a stuffed animal. He yawned, settling down with his chin on her head and let his eyes close. "Luis..." He murmured, "Did y'... See anything when y' f'und me?"

Kylie couldn't believe what had happened. "Well maybe next time you won't do something so reckless then Fin? I mean come on when are you going to learn?" She had asked him curiously. Even though she cared about him a lot she was still worried about him when he did stuff like this. "Maybe this will teach you a lesson next time?" She said and let him rest his head on hers.
"It will be okay, I promise. You'll be fine I'll help take care of you. She had told him. "Just as long as Chris doesn't get mad at me because, I told him I'd study more instead of going out and partying all of the time. I told him I'd keep up my grades more. So it looks like I have a study buddy." She said with a smile.

"Spr''ned."
"Sprained?" he asked hoping he heard right. "Well, that's a whole lot better than broken."
"So it looks like I have a study buddy."
Luis had to laugh when Kylie said that. "Well, looks like you won't have a reason to not study," he teased Vaina. "I know she won't let you fail."
"Did y'... See anything when y' f'und me?"
Luis blushed thinking about it and snickered softly. "Well, yeah. I did. A big, blonde guy naked in the shower. When you get well we'll try to figure out what we can do to keep anyone else from slipping in the shower." He wanted to say much more but with Kylie there he felt embarrassed to say how he felt and what he saw.

Väinä raised a brow, "So, sh'w'ring is r'ckless?" he murmured inquiringly, shaking his head as he lay back. The fin closed his eyes with a hardly stifled yawn, patting her head, "Yeah, we study." he muttered, "Wh't cl'ssific'tion 's th' epsil'n star 'f Crux, 'n name th' clos'st d''p-Sky obj'ct t' it." Of course he already knew this one. It was east for anyone, he believed. Juxta, the said star, was a dim white K-type, Epsilon class. The closest thing was delta Cruxis- a blue/white binary star.
Before he had a chance to reply to Luis, a nurse walked in with a wheelchair and a pair of crutches. Smirking at the sight of the girl on Väinä, she helped her get off of him, before taking off both blankets. 'Good news, sweetie.' said the nurse, removing the cold suction cups from his muscles, 'Doctor says you can go home now.' She looked over to Luis, 'You're his roommate, right? Luis Verde? Good. Make sure he stays off his foot as much as possible the next week- Doc said that he needs to be in bed the rest of the week, save to use the restroom and such.'
"Ei--" Began Väinämoinen, though he was hushed by the nurse.
'After the first week, he can get around himself with crutches. But until then, he can't be on that foot at all.' She motioned to the wheelchair.
Väinämöinen let out a heavy sigh. He was too tired to protest.
The nurse helped the fin off the bed, and after putting the special pillow for his ankle in a cabinet, helped him hobble to the chair. Väinämöinen sat reluctantly, not at all enjoying being dependent. He was in one of those hospital gowns- and by the way he was shivering subtly, was still very cold.
"'M S'rry, Luis..." he sighed, "'M a b'rden"

Luis laughed. "Well, maybe Kylie can come help me now and then," he smiled at her. "You know, to help feed him, read to him, help him study. Oh,," he remembered, "I brought you a change of clothes," he handed him a pair of folded jeans, a shirt and boxers along with a pair of shoes and socks. "I guess you'll only be needing one shoe. I'll drive us back to the dorm."
