Lola Valdez-----
"Finally." Lola said out of breather. She dropped her luggage on the floor. She opened her purse violently searching throughout the mess inside of her bag trying to find her room key. Lola was standing outside her dorm annoyed at the fact that she had to walk so far just to get here. They should have bellhops of something to carry all of my precious luggage to my room for me, God forbid I could break a nail doing all of this hard labor. "Ah, he we are." She said relieved pulling out a tiny key with a small tag attached to it. "Dorm 101. Same as always." Lola said as she looked at the the dorm number to see if it matched the number on her key. Putting her key in the door she turned it hearing the door unlock. As she opened the door slowly it creaked as she walked into to the room leaving her luggage in the hallway.
As she made her way into the room her hand felt around the walls searching for the light switch. "Got it!" Lola said just as the lights went on. The room was exactly the way it was last year. Split down the middle each person getting half he room and heir own closet. She walked over to the right, which was naturally her side. There was one twin size bed that had a lonesome plain mattress just waiting to be covered in her sheets, a small little night stand with lamp and alarm clock. At the foot of her bed she had her dresser along with a desk and chair against the wall next to her closet. She got up from the bed and headed toward the closet door. Opening it she turned on the light inside. As always she spotted her mirror that she had hung on the back of the closet door. Missing it she looked at it admiring her good hair day and decent outfit, it wasn't one of her best ones but hey its the first day back. Satisfied with what she saw she turned off the light and closed the door.
Lola made her way back out into the hall way to find her luggage untouched. She bent down and picked them up. Dragging them back into her room she dumped them on her bed. Boy, did she have alot of work to do in this room. An hour and a half later, everything was set, well her side at least. She made her bed, put up photos and posters, placed a rug on her side, unpacked all of her clothes into her drawers and closet and set up her desk with her laptop and other accessories. Lola glanced down at her watched noticing the time. "Hm, I wonder when Gabrielle will get her." She sighed and sat down at her desk opening her laptop viewing her summer essay.

Only as couple more weeks until classes start again. That thought kept running through her head over and over as she and her juicy luggage slowly trudged down the hall toward her dorm. Her key was gripped in her free hand, her purse slung over one shoulder and slowly falling. "Ugh, I never remember it being so damn far," she muttered to herself, wishing they had elevators or some easier way to do this.
Finally reaching room 101, she smiled and the memories came flooding back. Placing her bag on the ground, she stuck the key in and opened the door dragging her heavy trunk over the threshold, not even noticing that her dorm mate had already arrived. Her blue eyes then moved from her bag to her friend, a smile on her face and eyes shining happily. "Hey!" she said, walking over to her long time dorm mate. They were always roomed together, and always had room 101. She remembered when they first roomed together that the hated each other. Lola was the girl that people were afraid of and Gabby was the bitchy, queen bee. Naturally they didn't get along, but soon found a friendship and have been close friends ever since. Of course, people feared them both even more now since they started an alliance, but they always got what they wanted and they loved it. "How was your summer?" she asked, after giving her friend a quick hug.
Walking back by her side of the room she placed her luggage on the floor by her bed, but closed her eyes when she suddenly felt a dizzy spell come over her. Ugh, she really needed to start eating more. Rubbing her temples, she slowly opened her blue eyes and was glad to see that her vision was back to normal. Quickly checking the clock, she knew she should probably eat something after she was done unpacking. She really didn't want to pass out like last time. "You wanna get something to eat after I'm done?" she asked, hanging her clothes in her large closet and glancing at herself in the mirror. Her outfit was perfect as always, but she always made sure she looked good before going out. She was a fashion major, after all. Waiting for responses from Lola, she continued to unpack and reorganize her side of the room. It felt good to be back.
ooc;; I hope it's alright ! They'll get longer, I promise :]

Lola Valdez-----
"I fucking hate summer essays, they're so pointless!" Lola shouted to her computer. She really did hate essays, especially the ones that took up your time during you summer vacation. To Lola summer was about soaking up the sun and having a blast, and most importantly guys. Summer was defiantly not meant for people to be stuck inside writing a stupid summer essay for school. Even when there isn't school you still have to do work for it. So pointless! It wasn't like she would need this essay to help her in her future career. Lola sighed and began rubbing her temples. "Whatever, at lease I finished it." She said looking back at her computer. As Lola finished proof reading her essay she heard the creak of the door as it swung open. She immediately jumped to her feet as she had a feeling of who it was. Lola screamed with joy as she say Gabrielle walking towards her. She ran to her hugging her, thrilled to see her. "Hey girl how you been?!" Lola said releasing her hug. Lola walked back over to her desk sitting down. "My summer?" Lola repeated as she began to think about everything she had done. She literally had done probably everything a twenty one year old girl would want to do on her summer vacation. Everything from week long shopping sprees, to hooking up with guys at the clubs, she had done it all. "Well," Lola began. "It was fucking amazing!" She shouted. "I'm sure yours was good too, but probably nothing compared to mine!" Lola said laughing, it was a bitchy and conceited thing to say, but hey, it probably was true. "The only thing negative about mine was probably having to write that stupid summer essay." Lola said motioning to her laptop. How much she hated that essay. Taking up three of her precious summer hours away from her.
Lola ran her fingers through her long brown hair and watched as her friend began to unpack. As Lola watched her she noticed something. Something was different about Gabrielle, she looked, skinny. She already was skinny, but for some reason she looked even skinnier. Lola shook off the thought, she would defiantly bring it up later. As soon as Gabrielle mentioned food Lola's head shot up. "Yeah! Most def, I'm starving!" She said excited. "But we're not leaving until you fix up your side of the room. I can't stand to look at it's plainness for another second!" She said standing up. She walked over to Gabrielle and sat down on her unmade bed. "Your outfit is cute by the way." She said kindly. It was a decent outfit, although Gabby's style and Lola's style were completely different. They might agree on somethings here or there but otherwise they were complete opposites. Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Gabby resisted a groan and an eye roll as she tried to open the door and pull her heavy trunk in all at the same time. She could hear the sounds of her roommate coming from inside, and she sounded annoyed. She smiled to herself, glad to be surrounded familiar things she knew and loved.
Finally successfully getting through the door, she suddenly heard a scream and felt something clamp onto her. Laughing, she happily hugged her friend. Yes, it was definitely good to be back. "I'm good! Exhausted, but good," she said, throwing a vicious look to her trunk. Opening her trunk, she placed her laptop on her bed, listening as Lola began to tell her about her summer. She simply smirked at her response, doubting very much that she had a better summer then Gabby. Thinking back to the wonderful months, she was almost certain it had been her favorite summer yet. Though when she mentioned the summer essay, Gabby rolled her eyes. "I know right? How dare they make us do work during our time off. Do they really feel like grading more papers?" she replied with a wave of her hand, placing all of her fabulous clothes in her closet.
Finally done with all of her clothes, she started to pull out some posters and photos that would liven up the dull, white walls. "Good, I'm hungry too," she replied, ignoring the hunger pains in her stomach. Laughing as her roommate mentioned her plain walls, she laughed and admired her work so far. "I know, they could at least paint the damn walls an actual color." Being a fashion designer, Gabby hated anything plain. Including the dull dorm room. The white walls could drive anyone insane. Standing on her bed, she continued to hang her posters and pictures, stopping every now and then to make sure they were perfect. "Thanks, made it myself. Yours is cute too. A bit plain for you, but still casual chic," she replied, wondering why her friend was dressed so plain. She was used to her more colorful outfits. They were very opposite in style, so Gabby appreciated the compliment. She was more prep where Lola was more urban, but they offset each other so it worked out.
Finally finishing, she admired her work before plopping down onto her bed, sighing. "So, see any cute exchange students yet? I hear there's a hot new chem teacher this year. Finally, a reason to enjoy chem!" Gabby dished, always up on the latest news or gossip. It all came with being queen bee. She loved any gossip or news, and tried to spread some when she could.
