[/b][/i][/center]history: chris was born in brooklyn, new york, where he was raised in the suburbs. there he had a rather boring childhood where his father drilled him at academic subjects at home. once when he was outside with his friends, they provoked a stray dog and were chased. even though chris was not seriously injured, he has hated dogs since then.
he was always a brilliant student, excelling in areas such as math and science. however, he didn't really take intrest in them. in fact, for a period of time, he wasn't sure what he was going to do after high school. however, after being involved in the mock trial team in his high school, chris decided that he wanted to go into law. more specifically, criminal law.
at first, chris's father was against the idea, for he wanted chris to become a doctor like his older brother, jonathan was aiming to be, or at least become a corporate lawyer so that he could succeed the family business. however, after being persistent, chris got what he wanted and enrolled at Royal Academy as a criminal lawyer.
personality: when you first meet chris, he can come off as quite indifferent and aloof. unless you're a pretty girl, he might as well just brush you off like you're nobody's business. even if you get to know him, he is still kind of an uptight guy. his hobbies can be considered kind of boring and old fashioned. however, when he wishes to, he can be charismatic and charming to suit his own needs.
chris is somewhat of a neat freak. he enjoys his things neat and orderly and dislikes anything that messes them up. for example, his documents are usually well filed and color-coded. one might even say that he has OCD, although he has never been officially diagnosed as such.
finally, chris is passionate about what he cares about. therefore, you can see him slaving away at night reading about his next case for class and seeking out internships in the community nearby. he also stays loyal and truthful to his friends, believe betrayal to be one of the worst things to happen to someone. lastly, his significant other is placed near the top of his priorities, but they will need to earn that spot.

sample: What time was it? It certainly wasn't early anymore. The sun seemed to be hanging closer to the West than the East, but one could still see that there was much time left in the day. Classes were going on in Stonebrook University in all the different departments, but right now, Nicole was at the library, nose deep in her chemistry textbook. "Stoichiometry, moles, compounds, heat of formation... Why is this so complicated?" she thought to herself as she struggled to take it in. The fact that she had a test in less than three hours was killing her and she hoped that her English professor wouldn't mind her absence. After all, the test in Chemistry was definitely going to take a lot more work for her brain than reading Shakespeare. There was Sparknotes for that.
Catching herself spacing out, Nicole gave herself a mental slap as she went back to the book, right hand scratching notes down furiously besider her. "Why did I not do this yesterday?" her mind wailed. Procrastination was always a problem for students and this time, it really came back to bite. The words before her became blurrier and blurrier as she stared at them harder and harder. "Enthalpy, entropy... what?" she mumbled to herself before pushing the book away and leaned back in her chair, frustrated.
Staring at the off-white ceiling of the room, Nicole sighed. "Why am I trying so hard?" she questioned in her mind. It was a question she had been asking herself for ages. Throughout high school, Nicole had been a good student, maybe not an outstanding one, but a good one. And now, she was attending college in Stonebrook, far from her home in Ohio. While she left high school believing that she'd find her way in life in college, she was now still lost. Even her major was still undecided. There was simply nothing that she felt a strong passion toward.
"I am so lost right now," she sulked, leaning on her arms across the table.
