Cody needed a two bedroom apartment, the extra bedroom for when his son would spend the weekend or summer. It was on the second floor with French doors that led to a nice balcony for sunning or barbecuing. He had a small, round, white metal table and two chairs like you'd find on a person's yard so he could enjoy his morning coffee, a great room that combined a living and dining area, small kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and two full baths. He slept in the larger of the bedrooms on a full sized bed while the smaller bedroom had a twin sized bed. Hiring a decorator to help make the apartment homey it was easy to keep clean. Off to one side he had a desk with a computer and equipped with all the things he needed to grade papers, keep up with his personal records and whatever else he needed. Book shelves held book, of course, as well as his collection of old vinyl records of blues singers and musicians. His favorite was Billie Holiday.
