I live above you."
"Are you serious?" Cody looked dumbfounded at him. He liked Ryan but wasn't sure about being best friends with him. "Well, then you won't have far to go to come visit then, will you," he joked. "One more caramel frappchino, please," he asked the clerk. "So, have you moved in yet or are you staying with someone until your furniture comes?"

“One Ginger herb tea, please,” he said to the clerk. She was gorgeous. “You got beautiful hazel eyes,” he complimented her. She blushed, her hand brushed Cody's cup knocking it over the counter.
“Good thing it was empty,” she said taking the cup off the counter. She cleaned the counter. And got their drinks.
“I got it,” he told Cody. Ryan was reaching for his back pocket, pulled out his leather wallet and opened it up. He pulled out the credit card, hand it to the female who was blushing deep red.
“We got the ATM Machine,” she said gestured her hand to the machine.
“Oh, I did not see that,” he said swiping the card through the ATM. He looked up at her. He tucked the card back in his wallet and tucked back in his back pocket.
“I am surprised it was not asking me for a date. All the questions they ask. You think ask a date,” he said smiling to her as he was taking the receipt from her. “Thank you, Mandy,” he said. The name tag on her had helped him to make her feel unique. He winked at her.
Ryan got back with Cody. “She was a sweet thing, eh,” he told Cody. “Oh, I had not moved in yet. That might explain you did not see me. I am waiting for them to clean up the place. I am staying at the Hampton Inn.”

"Oh man, that will really cost. I have an extra room. It's for when my son comes to visit in the summer. You're welcome to come stay with me until your stuff comes and I won't charge you anything," he chuckled. "What do you say?"

“Yes, it would,” he replied and added, “Not really. The apartment management insurance company was paying for my stay at the Hampton. I supposed to move in my apartment like today, but I decided to rent two more nights at the Hampton,” he said. He moved his right index finger to his lips as he was trying to figure what to do. Could he stay at a strangers house?Ryan thinks Cody is a shallow man. Ryan would be afraid he would go shallow.
“Let me have a good night sleep at the Hampton. I think it over, and I will let you know,” he said looking at the clerk. The female was checking him out. He shot her a wink. Yea, he was not going to pass up one night at the Hampton. That the clerk was a possible to bring back to the hotel room. “I call you tomorrow. Is that fine?” He asked as turned back to Cody.

“Let me have a good night sleep at the Hampton. I think it over, and I will let you know.”
"Okay," he nodded and watched as Ryan flirted with the clerk. She was an attractive, young woman but not his type. Ryan was a wild one. Something he had never been and hoped he'd never be, but he was a new friend and co-worker and wanted to extend a hand of friendship to him.
"Hey, listen I have to go. That number you have is my cell phone. You should be able to get me anywhere. Give me a call as to what you want to do. Nice to meet you," he shook his hand. "See ya' around." And with that he left and went to get something to eat.
