I never want to feel like I did that day
take me to the place I love,
It was that time of the year again. Moving back to school, having to lug all of your stuff to your room. Back and forth. Such a pain. Unpacking, even worse. Takes so much time. It would be so much better, and much easier if they had people doing it all for you. "If only." Lola said, shaking her head. Surprisingly, she had gotten to her room first. As she opened the door, and both beds were empty. "Perhaps I get the room to myself, push the beds together, that would be nice." Smirking, Lola began to unpack her stuff, and get settled in to her new room.
Sighing, she looked around, her last year. So sad, yet sort of exciting. Lola began to think about the summer, how fast it had gone, and how so much had happened. The sunny days, the warmth, the beach. She was probably at the beach every day. She loved it. Helping her sister out for her camp play. Lola smiles at the happy memories, as the slowly vanish from her mind.
Walking over to the window she glanced out at the campus, at all the students moving in, the freshmen with their parents. Why didn't I just have my parents hire moving people to help me today? I could have easily gotten them too. Lola crinkled her eyebrows confused as to why she had not thought of that. What was happening to her? These few years away at school, has pushed her away from her spoiled ways, and has gotten her acting more like an independent adults. "Ugh." She said in disgust.
As Lola finally put the final touches on her side of the room, she eyed the empty bed, curious as to who her new roommate would be.
