It was about that time. He could not take another minute of it. The heat was spreading throughout his body, his heart rate increased, fists closed tightly, his jaw clenched. His entire body began to shake, he couldn't let this happen, not again. Logan closed his eyes tightly, trying to think of something, anything pleasant to calm himself. Nothing. Absolutely nothing came to mind. He tried to control his breathing, slow deep breaths. Nothing was helping. Logan ripped off his t-shirt, and grabbed his blue baseball cap. He proceeded out of his apartment building and made his way down the streets of Dove. He continued to pick up speed as his walk became a jog, and his jog became a run. He was breathing heavily and found his way to the local park. He continued his fast pace down the paths weaving in and out of people. He clenched his teeth tightly, as he felt the sweat dripping down his back. The sun was shinning brightly above him, following his every move. Not a single cloud in the sky. All of the tree have long lost their leaves, with the exception of a small few. A brisk breeze hit him, sending a shiver throughout his body, it was cold out, Logan didn't care. He needed a distraction, and so far, this was not doing a good job. It has only been a few days since he moved here, and he already had an outburst, and over what? Turns out nothing. Stacy told him it would be better if he was out of the city, less things to remind him of his childhood. But even here, he can't escape. Logan slowed his pace down to a slow jog, he veered off the path and made his way to a tree. He sat down under it, leaning his back against the trunk. He placed his face in his hands and tried to forget, and erase all those years from his mind. Outfit

Different. Everything was so different. No one spoke Spanish, that she could find at least, and it made everything confusing. She could read English perfectly, even if she didn't always understand the larger words. But speaking English was another story. She stumbled over her words, stuttered, and even mixed up what she was saying. All in all, it was very embarrassing and she wanted to get away from it all. After locking her dorm and hanging the key on a chain around her neck, she left the dorm and went for a jog into town. AnaMaria was thankful that the town was small; it reminded her of her home town back in Peru. Back home, she almost always walked or jogged to wherever she needed to go. She slowed down to a walk as she approached the entrance to Dove park. On her way to Royal Academy she had passed by the park but she hadn't had a chance to actually go see it until now. It was a very nice place, she decided, even though there were almost not leaves on the trees. She kept walking when she saw a man sitting under a tree, head in his hands. "Señor? Are you okay?" Her thick accent rolled around the English words and her mocha colored eyes filled with concern. "It is...ah, cold here with this...wind, is it?"outfit

Luis was heading back to his dorm when he passed by an attractive woman talking. It was very obvious she was Hispanic and he was surprised. Besides one of the professors he hadn't seen any other Hispanics. "Hola!" he said to her as he approached. Smiling friendly he wanted to come across as nice and not creepy. "¿Cómo esta usted? How are you?" Outfit

AnaMaria practically jumped out of her skin and let out a small scream when a voice out of nowhere began speaking. Turning around, she smiled sheepishly and ran a hand through her hair.
"Oh Dios mio! You scared me! Lo siento para gritando. I didn't mean to scream." She chuckled. "Pero, estoy bien. I'm good, thanks. ¿Y usted?"
Her eyes went wide and her hand flew to her mouth. "¿Dónde están mis maneras? Where are my manners? Me llamo AnaMaria. My name is AnaMaria."

Luis chuckled at her reaction. He knew it was startling to hear your native language being spoken in a place it was not normally spoken. "Me llamo Luis Verde. It's nice to meet you, AnaMaria. Are you a student here?" he asked her. She was absolutely beautiful and hoped she didn't have a boyfriend, but even is she did he'd still like to be friends. The young Peruvian woman smiled up at the man. It was nice to meet someone who spoke Spanish as well. So far, no one else she had met spoke it so this was refreshing for her.
"It is nice to meet you, too, Luis. And, sí, I am a student here. Are you un estudiante as well?"
She brushed a lock of hair behind her ear and subtly looked him over from under her dark lashes. Even back home, the men did not look as good as Luis did. In the back of her mind, she hoped that he didn't have a girlfriend either. When she met his eyes again, a light blush dusted her cheeks and she looked away. She was hoping that he was a student like her. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to see him as much because of classes.

"Si'. I am a Junior. My major is Forensic Science. There's not many Hispanics in that area and I want to be one of the first to be an M.E. Would you care to have some coffee with me? We could talk more." It would be interesting to find out more about this beauty.

AnaMaria's eyes lit up. He was a student, so she could see him more often than if he lived in town. At his invitation to go to coffee, she nearly jumped at the chance before she mentally calmed herself down.
"Sí, I'd like that." She smiled up at the taller man. "Pero, I do not know where anything is really. I only got here ayer. Maybe after coffee, you could show me around?"

"Si', I'd be happy to," he smiled at her. "There's some coffee in the Co-ed lounge. They also have a smoothie bar and snacks," he grinned. "They're pretty good, if you like fruit, that is. Where are you from?" he asked her.

"Gracias. Coffee sounds good, though I will have to try one of the smoothies. We did not have those very often at home." A slight wave of homesickness when he asked where she was from, though she didn't show it. Already she missed her familia very much. "I am from Talara, Peru. A fishing village on the coast. It is a muy bonita place. ¿Y usted? Where are you from?"
